Made for Falling Block Jam 2025, inspired by Tetris, Hot Wax, and Wizard's Folly — an arcade puzzle game about managing imperfect lines and imperfect pieces.
How to play
Drop blocks! Complete rows to push the entire field downward. Push blocks off the bottom of the field to score points.
Plan ahead! Burst blocks will target nearby spaces on the field. When their countdown reaches 0, those spaces will be filled with blocks (unless they're already filled — those blocks are destroyed instead). Overlapping one burst with another will chain them together so they activate at the same time. Use them to your advantage to set up big combos.
Sink the stack! When one or more rows are filled, it pushes the field down by that many rows plus one — completing single lines will keep the field in check, but multiple lines at once will earn bonus score and bonus time.
Aim for a high score! The game ends when the timer runs out or the field reaches the top. Have fun!

excellent presentation
very intriguing puzzle & lovely graphics
beautiful art and interesting mechanics! I found the abnormal piece shapes quite hard to deal with, but that's probably just tetris muscle memory fighting me :)
